That last scene kinda hinted that Mimihime was Hoshio, and she got a glimpse of her and Shiro’s death (No spoilers just the ramblings of an Anime Only).

I read the manga, how the hell do you guess any of this assuming you only got this from the anime?

I often guess the entire plot of a show 2-3 episodes in; by process of correlation, inference and probability, but this show is a tough one crack

things we already know:
- Mimihime can possibly see the future
- whenever she feels like she wants to go outside she's helped by 2 people she never met before, one looks exactly like Tokio

yeah I got no clue either man lol, this show is a headscratcher
all of that setup in the beginning with the tomato is probably just a setup to us, there's still no connection within the two storylines, none that I noticed anyways

Firstly: Maru and Kiruko were talking about the existence of Robots before the “Disaster” somewhere between the first 3 episodes ( possible timeline hints ).

Further: Shiro builts mechanical gadgets, a bit anti-social and is infatuated with Mimihime; Much like that “Doctor” who keeps saying he's not a doctor, and his loved one.

The clues were there

I like this anime, it doesnt reach shinsekei Yori territory in world building, characters are closer. Story so far, i like it (doesnt reach former mentioned Anime, but it makes a good try of it.
